We took a winter walk in the arboretum with our PEPS group. Moments after this picture was taken, Jonathon, a little buddy of Julian's, was poking his stick into the ice similar to what Julian was doing above. His stick got stuck just enough to throw him off balance and Jonathon plunged into the icey pond. I had Nico on my back in the backpack and I dropped to my chest and grabbed Jonathon by the scruff. Turned out the water was only up to his neck but he was still one upset puppy. One of the moms had a change of clothes with her (moms!) so he recuperated pretty quickly.
